| Discussion | Thaddeus Day advised that he filed the Association report and renewal fee with the State. He also noted he did not put in for reimbursement for the annual report for the years 2010, ’11, ’12 & 2013, he will send a reimbursement request to Leslie for those fees. The annual fee is $35 to make those filings.Margie Hansel advised the Town Fire Dept structure is changing there will now be the department, and the Fire Company, which organizes all events. The Town will no longer cover their banquet costs, so businesses may get letters seeking donations to cover that cost. Thad Day also noted at a Town Meeting that they want to hire a FULL time fire chief versus the part time chief that is serving now.
On June 11th the vote will be held regarding closure of No Yarmouth Memorial School. A NO vote would allow time for exploration of alternative plans. We discussed updating the website to include all member emails, Marilyn will complete the list and update within 30 days. It is time for membership renewal and Marilyn will get invoices out to all members last week of May. Members who have joined in 2013 are waived from another fee. We also discussed that Officers terms are coming up and votes should be held to appoint new officers to positions. Voting is valid with a Quorum of seven. No one person is supposed to serve more than three years in the same position. Thirty days notice should go out advising the annual meeting likely to be held in Spring at our trade show event. Marilyn will contact Janice Selig regarding email reminders of meetings. Last topic was No. Yarmouth Events Committee Funding and sponsorships. Thad will discuss with Anne Marie McKenzie, and we will have further discussion on whether NYBA wants to donate a certain dollar amount to events.
